Ousmane Dembele has praised his Paris Saint-Germain teammates for their resilience after securing a 2-0 win over Liverpool and advancing to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

Dembele, who scored both goals at Anfield, highlighted the difficulty of playing in such a high-pressure environment despite PSG already holding a first-leg advantage. He admitted the team had to “suffer” at times, especially during a challenging second half when Liverpool applied intense pressure.

The French forward opened the scoring in the 72nd minute before sealing the victory in stoppage time, completing a dominant 4-0 aggregate triumph. His performance once again underlined his importance to PSG, particularly after returning from injury earlier in the season.

Liverpool created numerous chances throughout the match, registering over 20 attempts on goal, but PSG’s defensive discipline and composure proved decisive. Dembele noted that such challenges are expected at this stage of the competition, where only elite teams remain.

With 16 goals in all competitions this season, Dembele is enjoying strong form and says his focus remains on helping the team in every way possible. PSG will now face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the semi-finals as they continue their quest to retain the Champions League title.
